The PPC operates on a consensus-based model. PPC’s leadership made an affirmative decision to not have one chair or convenor. Each year, at PPC’s Annual Meeting all members of the PPC convene to set PPC’s priorities and policy agenda for the year ahead. To allow the PPC to move forward where there is consensus but not unanimity, PPC members always have the opportunity to proactively opt-in (rather than opt-out) to support timely policy issues and sign-on to PPC work products.
PPC funding comes from voluntary contributions by members. Membership contributions are strongly encouraged because they are necessary to pay for the ongoing fixed and discretionary costs of the PPC.
